Training

The Allison Partners team is known for teaching leadership concepts in an accessible way, while giving participants opportunities to practice new skills and build meaningful action plans. We pride ourselves on delivering virtual experiences that audiences describe as just as meaningful as being in-person.

Our programs are built around three complementary elements: reflecting on one’s own behavior and experience, understanding how individual actions affect others and the broader organization, and practicing core skills through hands-on exercises.

Healthcare organizations most often request the following topics, though we also enjoy developing new courses in partnership with clients, as well as more in-depth leadership programs that span multiple topics with a focus on cohort development, application between sessions, and follow-up coaching for participants:

  • The Art of Being a Great Boss
  • Choosing Balance and Leadership
  • Facilitating Effective Meetings
  • Resolving Conflict
  • Setting Expectations and Giving Feedback
  • Skills to Influence and Motivate Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

We tailor every training experience to each client’s culture, priorities, and existing practices, incorporating their preferred frameworks, engagement survey results, personality assessments, performance review processes, and other leadership and team-development approaches — so the learning feels relevant, practical, and aligned with the organization.
