Rachel and I share a love of picture books. We think the lessons along with the illustrations are just as important for grown-ups as they are for children. We’ve written about more than 20 of them since we started our What We’re Reading Now blog in 2010, and today I’m delighted to share a video of Dara Henry reading her book, Hanukkah Pajamakkahs.
When I need to tap into my creativity or make changes in my life or prepare to have a difficult conversation, I have to remind myself that embracing messiness is almost always part of the process. Whenever the potential messiness scares me, I’m going to think of Ruthie!
